Emil Fenyvesi

1859 – 1924

Emil Fenyvesi came from a Jewish family . From 1876 he was a choir member in various troupes, after 2 years he was given a prose role in Sopron. In the following years he was seen in several, mainly provincial theaters. In 1912 he made his silent film acting debut, but he was also the screenwriter himself. In 1923 he was already a film director in Berlin.
